Repertoire
An individual mastery of each performer and their unity determine the great performing potential of the orchestra. Its widest repertoire includes various styles and genres of music, like folk songs and dances, popular works of Russian and foreign composers , adapted symphonic and classical music, original compositions of modern authors, written specially for Russian folk orchestra.
The most interesting sets of concerts are:
- "Popular Russian folk music" (wonderful mixes of the adapted folk songs and dances for balalaika, domra, bayan, gusli and the orchestra)
- "Masterpieces of Russian classical music" (by composers M. Glinka, P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rahmaninov M. Musorgsky, A. Lyadov, N. Rimsky-Korsakov etc.)
- "XX century in Russian music" (by S. Prokofiev, D. Shostakovich, G. Sviridov, R. Schedrin, A. Shnitke etc.)
- "Music with no borders" (by J. Rossini, L. Bernstain, K. Debussy, D. Gershvin, P. Sarasete, A. Paganini, K. Sen-Sans etc.)
- "Through countries and continents" (music from France, Spain, England, Italy etc.)
- "Unveiling" (new authors, new music)
- "Good bye my tabor" (Gipsy songs and dances)

The repertoire of the orchestra is too wide to mention everything we can play. Our concert programme depends on a place we perform, audience desire and preferences.
